To properly maintain the wig it is essential to have a hairbrush in good condition. So here's how to take care of it.

Remove the dust

To brush the wig it is recommended to use a bristle brush (preferably metal to avoid static electricity). Be careful - if you let dirt build up there water wave wig, it can quickly become a nest for bacteria! To clean the brush, start by regularly removing dust and hair trapped there. You can do this by hand or use a comb (useful for switching between pins).

Cleaning a pin brush

To keep a bristle brush in perfect condition, thorough cleaning is essential (to be done about twice a month). To do this, pour 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda into a liter of hot water. Let the brush sit for about an hour and then let it dry overnight. Scrub the base of the pins with an old toothbrush to remove the dirt and voila!

Tip: You can replace baking soda with white vinegar (use the same amount of water).

Clean a soft-bristled brush

To clean a boar bristle brush, soak it in warm water with a little shampoo for your bob wigs. Gently scrub your hair with your fingers, rinse and let it air dry. Cleaning a comb To clean a comb, nothing could be simpler: soak it for an hour in warm water with bleach, rinse well and dry!

Tip: Also remember to clean rubber bands, clothespins, make-up brushes etc.
